I love the warmth that comes with seeing friends and family during this time of year. Even here in Texas the air can occasionally be cold and crisp, but it doesn’t deter folks from getting together and enjoying each other’s company.
As much as I enjoy my time surrounded by wonderful people, winter is the time that this social butterfly likes to hurry home to nestle under one of my special quilts that I reserve just for this time of year. A cup of tea or cocoa, and the cocoon of a warm quilt. These things bring me great joy.
It’s a small ritual, a tiny tradition that helps me welcome the change in season.
Do you have a favorite cold weather ritual? I’d love to hear about it!
